Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Digibition, the global B2B directory and digital trade fair platform. If you can't find your answer here, reach us from the contact page.
What is Digibition?
Digibition is a global business-to-business (B2B) directory and digital trade fair platform. It helps buyers discover verified manufacturers, exporters, distributors and service providers, and lets companies showcase their products and services to an international audience. The platform is available in English and Turkish.
Is Digibition free to use?
Yes. Browsing the directory, viewing company profiles and digital fairs, creating an account and listing your company are all free. We may add optional paid visibility features in the future, but the core directory stays free to use.
How do I create an account?
Click 'Sign in' and then 'Create one', or go to the registration page. You only need your name, email and a password. Everyone starts as a standard user; afterwards you can create a company or apply to become a fair organizer from your account.
How do I list my company?
After signing in, open 'Add / list company' from your dashboard and enter your company details on one page — name, country, sector and specializations, contact details, description, logo and more. When you submit it for review, an administrator checks it before it appears publicly. You also confirm that you are authorized to represent the company.
How does company verification work?
Every company is reviewed by a Digibition administrator before it becomes publicly visible. A profile moves from draft to 'under review' when you submit it; once approved it appears in the directory with a 'Verified' badge. This keeps the directory trustworthy for buyers.
What can I add to my company profile?
A rich profile: logo, a bilingual tagline and description, your primary sector and up to 10 specializations, target markets, products and services (each with images, description and specifications), PDF catalogues and documents, certifications (ISO and others), year founded, number of employees, address, VAT number, payment methods and an intro video.
Someone already listed my company — how do I claim it?
Open the company's profile and use the 'Is this your company? Claim it or report a problem' link, then choose to claim it. If you're signed in with an email on the company's website domain, we verify you instantly with a one-time code; otherwise our team reviews your request. Once confirmed, the profile is transferred to your account so you can manage it.
How do I report an unauthorized or incorrect profile?
On any company profile, use the 'Is this your company? Claim it or report a problem' link and choose 'Report a problem'. Tell us what's wrong — unauthorized, impersonation, or incorrect information. Our team reviews every report and may temporarily unpublish the profile while investigating. Our Compliance page describes the full notice-and-action procedure.
How do I contact a supplier?
Open a company's profile and use 'Send a message' — you need to be signed in. This starts a two-way conversation that both you and the company can continue from your inboxes. You can also start a video or voice call directly from the conversation.
Can I request a quote from several suppliers at once?
Yes. Add suppliers from the same category to a named quote list (up to 10 per list), then send your request to all of them in one step. Each company receives its own private request — they don't see one another — and replies to you individually.
Can I make video or voice calls?
Yes. Inside any conversation you will find 'Video call' and 'Voice call' buttons. Both parties open the same private call room from the conversation. Calls open in a new tab and need no extra software.
What is the 'Quick responder' badge?
It's a trust signal a company earns by genuinely replying fast: over the last 90 days it has answered most of its real inquiries and its median reply time is within 24 hours. The badge appears on the profile and on company cards only when there's enough real data, so it can't be faked.
What are digital trade fairs?
Digital trade fairs are online events where approved companies exhibit to buyers without travel. You can browse public fairs and their exhibitors on the Fairs page, and approved companies can join relevant fairs from their dashboard.
How do I become a fair organizer?
From the footer choose 'Become a fair organizer' (or open the Organizer area while signed in) and apply. An administrator reviews your application; once approved you can create and manage your own digital fairs.
How do sectors and specializations work?
Companies choose one primary sector from a curated, standards-based taxonomy, plus up to 10 specific specializations (sub-industries). Each specialization has its own directory page, so buyers can find exactly the suppliers they need, and these pages are optimized for search engines.
Does Digibition handle payments or transactions?
No. Digibition only connects buyers and suppliers. It is not a party to any transaction and is not responsible for agreements, payments, product quality, delivery or disputes between users. Always verify who you are dealing with and proceed at your own risk.
Which languages does Digibition support?
The platform is fully available in English and Turkish, including company content. English is the default; you can switch to Turkish at any time with the language switcher, and every page carries the correct language metadata (hreflang) for search engines.
How do I delete my account?
Open Account settings and choose 'Delete account'. First remove any companies or fairs tied to your account. Your account is then kept for 30 days in case you change your mind — signing in within that period reactivates it; after 30 days it is permanently deleted.
Is my data safe and who can read my messages?
Your conversations are visible only to you and the company you contact — not to other users — and are secured in transit with HTTPS. Who created a company is never shown publicly. You stay in control of your profile and can edit or delete your account at any time from Account settings.
What is a B2B company directory?
A business-to-business (B2B) company directory is an organized, searchable list of companies — manufacturers, exporters, distributors and service providers — that sell to other businesses rather than consumers. Buyers use it to discover and compare suppliers by industry, product, location and other criteria, then contact them directly. On Digibition, every listed company is reviewed by an administrator before it appears, so buyers browse verified profiles rather than scraped or unverified data.
What is a virtual trade fair?
A virtual (digital) trade fair is an online event where companies exhibit their products and meet buyers over the internet, without travelling to a physical venue. Visitors browse exhibitor booths, view catalogs and start conversations or calls from their browser. It lowers the cost and time of a traditional fair while keeping the discovery and networking benefits. On Digibition, approved companies can join relevant digital fairs and present to an international audience.
What is the difference between a digital exhibition and a virtual trade show?
In practice the terms are used interchangeably: both describe an online event where companies showcase products and meet buyers without a physical venue. Any difference is one of emphasis — 'exhibition' often stresses browsing exhibitor displays and catalogs, while 'trade show' stresses live meetings and networking. Digibition's digital fairs combine both: buyers explore exhibitor booths and also start direct conversations or calls. What matters is the outcome — discovery and contact — not the label.
How can companies participate in international trade fairs online?
To take part in an online trade fair, a company first creates and verifies its profile, then joins a relevant fair as an exhibitor. From there it can present products, share catalogs and connect with visiting buyers through messaging and video or voice calls — all from a browser, with no travel or booth construction. On Digibition, approved companies join suitable digital fairs from their dashboard, and fair organizers can create and manage their own events.
How can manufacturers find international buyers?
Manufacturers reach international buyers by making their business easy to discover and evaluate online. A complete, verified profile — clear product descriptions, specifications, photos, certifications and target markets — helps buyers find you through search and directory filters. On Digibition you can also exhibit at digital trade fairs and respond quickly to incoming messages and quote requests. Prompt, professional replies and accurate information build the trust that turns an enquiry into an order.
How can exporters find international distributors?
Exporters find distributors by presenting a clear, credible offer and making it discoverable. A verified profile that states your products, capacity, certifications and the markets you want to enter helps the right partners find you through directory search and sector pages. On Digibition you can also meet potential distributors at digital fairs and talk directly through messaging and calls. As always, check a prospective partner's references and agree terms carefully before committing. This is general information, not legal or business advice.
How can I find verified suppliers by country?
On Digibition you can filter the company directory by country alongside industry and sector, so you see suppliers from the markets you care about. Each company is reviewed by an administrator before it is published, so the results are verified profiles rather than unchecked listings. Open the directory, choose a country (and optionally a sector or specialization), and contact the suppliers that fit — or add several to a quote list and request quotes from all of them at once.
