Quote lists

A quote list lets a buyer group companies from the same category into a named list, then send one quote request to the whole list at once. Lists are built and managed from your dashboard.

What it is

When you want pricing from several companies for the same need, a quote list saves you from sending the same request over and over. You gather companies from the same category into a named list, so everything you want to source together stays in one place.

Once the list is ready, you send a single RFQ to the whole list at once — the bulk-quote flow. Each company receives its own separate, private inquiry: they respond only to you and never see the others, so you can gather and compare offers for the same requirement cleanly.

Quote lists are created and managed from your dashboard, where you can name a list, add or remove companies, and keep the responses organised as they come in.

How it works

  1. 1

    Create a named list

From your dashboard, start a quote list and give it a name for the need you are sourcing.

  2. 2

    Add companies from a category

On any company card or profile, use the “Add to quote list” button to add it to your list (you need to be signed in). Add companies from the same category, and remove any that no longer fit.

  3. 3

Send one RFQ to the list

Send a single quote request to the whole list at once using the bulk-quote flow.

  4. 4

    Compare the private replies

Each company answers in its own private inquiry, so you can compare offers for the same requirement in one place.

Why it helps

  • Group companies from a category into one named list
  • Send a single RFQ to the whole list instead of repeating yourself
  • Each company gets its own private inquiry and never sees the others
  • Build and manage your lists from the dashboard

Frequently asked questions

What is a quote list?
It is a named list of companies from the same category that you group together so you can send one quote request to all of them at once.
How is it different from sending individual RFQs?
Instead of writing the same request to each company, you add them to a list and send one RFQ to the whole list; each company still receives its own separate inquiry.
Do the companies see each other?
No. Each company receives a private inquiry and responds only to you; they never see the other companies on your list.
Where do I manage my quote lists?
Quote lists are created and managed from your dashboard, where you can name a list, add or remove companies, and track the responses.
Can I add companies from different categories to one list?
A quote list groups companies from the same category so a single request fits them all; for a different category, create another list.
