Compliance Statement & Disclaimer
Version 1.0 · Effective date 2026-10-24
Digibition is a B2B directory and digital-fair platform where companies list themselves. This page explains the platform’s role, the limits of its liability, and the notice-and-action procedure we operate against unauthorized, incorrect or infringing profiles.
1. Platform role and disclaimer
Digibition is an intermediary/hosting platform. The information, images, products and documents on company profiles are provided by the relevant users; Digibition is not the author of that content.
Digibition is not a party to, and is not responsible for, communications, quotes, contracts or commercial relationships between companies. The platform is provided "as is" and "as available".
We are under no obligation to verify content, but we review notices submitted under the procedure below and act where appropriate.
2. Verification and moderation
Company profiles are reviewed by an admin before publication, and only approved profiles become public. Email verification and an authorized-representative declaration are collected.
This process is not a guarantee; if an incorrect or unauthorized profile slips through, the notice mechanism below applies.
3. Notice-and-action procedure
If you believe a profile was created without authorization, impersonates a company/brand/person, infringes intellectual property or other rights, or contains wrong information, you can notify us.
How to notify: use the "Is this your company? Claim it or report a problem" link on the relevant company profile and choose "Report a problem", or contact us.
Your notice should include: (a) the link to the profile, (b) the nature of the problem (unauthorized / impersonation / rights infringement / wrong information), (c) your name and contact details, (d) where possible your basis (e.g. trademark registration, authority document), and (e) a good-faith statement that the information you provide is accurate.
Our action: we review notices within a reasonable time. In cases of clear abuse, impersonation or serious infringement we may temporarily unpublish or suspend the profile while we review, and we inform the relevant parties of the outcome.
4. Ownership (takeover) claims
If you are a company’s authorized representative and a profile was created by someone else, you can request to claim it.
Ownership is confirmed either by instant verification via an email on the company’s website domain, or by admin review of official documents (e.g. trade-registry/tax records). On confirmation, control of the profile is transferred to you.
5. Counter-notice
The party who created the profile may contest a removal or transfer decision with evidence of their authority and the accuracy of the information. We assess the counter-notice and make the final decision.
6. Repeat infringers
Users who repeatedly create unauthorized profiles or abuse the procedure (including with baseless notices) may have their accounts suspended or terminated.
7. Intellectual property and trademark
If you believe your copyright, trademark or other IP rights are infringed, submit a notice as above with information showing you are the rights holder. We remove content on justified notices.
8. Illegal content and personal-data (KVKK/GDPR) requests
Reports of illegal content and requests concerning personal data (including access/rectification/erasure under Turkish Law No. 6698 / applicable law) can be sent through the same channel and are handled in line with applicable law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Digibition is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from user content, reliance on it, or use of the platform.
10. Governing law and contact
This statement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye; the Istanbul (Çağlayan) Courts and Execution Offices have jurisdiction over disputes.
