Request a quote (RFQ)

From any company profile you can send a quote request with your subject, message, quantity, delivery terms and needed-by date. You can also build a quote list and send one RFQ to several companies at the same time, with each receiving its own private inquiry.

What it is

A request for quote (RFQ) is the direct way to ask a company for pricing and terms on Digibition. Instead of a loose email, you fill in a structured inquiry — subject, message, quantity, delivery and the date you need it by — so the company has everything it needs to respond quickly and accurately.

You can send a single RFQ from a company profile, or build a quote list of several companies in the same category and send one request to all of them at once. Each company receives its own separate, private inquiry: they respond only to you and never see that you also contacted others, and they never see each other. This lets you compare offers side by side without putting suppliers in a shared thread.

Every RFQ you send is tied to a conversation, so replies, follow-up questions and clarifications all stay in one place in your dashboard.

How it works

  1. 1

    Open a company profile

Find a company in the directory and open its profile, then choose to request a quote.

  2. 2

    Fill in your request

Add a subject and message, and specify quantity, delivery terms and the date you need the goods or service by.

  3. 3

    Send to one or many

Send the RFQ to that company, or add several companies to a quote list and send the same request to all of them at once.

  4. 4

    Compare the replies

Each company answers in its own private conversation; track and compare the responses from your dashboard.

Why it helps

  • Structured fields (quantity, delivery, needed-by) get you accurate offers faster
  • Reach several companies with a single bulk request
  • Each inquiry stays private — companies never see one another
  • All replies and follow-ups are kept in one conversation per company

Frequently asked questions

What is an RFQ on Digibition?
It is a structured quote request you send to a company, including your subject, message, quantity, delivery terms and the date you need it by, so the company can respond with accurate pricing and terms.
Can I send one request to several companies?
Yes. You can build a quote list of companies in the same category and send a single RFQ to all of them at once; each company receives its own separate inquiry.
Do the companies see that I contacted others?
No. Every inquiry is private. Each company responds only to you and never sees the other companies you included, nor that the request was sent in bulk.
Where do I see the responses?
Each reply arrives in its own conversation, which you can follow and manage from your dashboard, so you can compare offers in one place.
Do I need an account to send an RFQ?
Browsing is open, but sending a quote request requires signing in so the company can reply to you and the conversation can be saved.
